Producer/Director Douglas P. Andonian was born and raised in the Boston area. Upon graduation from high school, his passion for automobiles led him to pursue, what became, a thirty eight year career in the automotive service and repair industry.

In addition to his work as an automotive technician, Mr. Andonian developed a shared passion for wildlife photography. He could be found, many warm summer weekends, photographing Humpback whales off the Massachusetts coast from his twenty three foot sport fishing boat. A childhood desire to see and experience the African bush and its' abundance of magnificent wildlife, which he has done many times, heightened his interest in photography.

Since retiring in 2002, Mr. Andonian, because of his interest in photography, a desire to write and an immense curiosity of everything that was, and is, important to him, made a conscious decision to embark upon a late career in filmmaking. The documentary format is his focus and subject matter pertaining to World War Two dominates a very busy schedule of work. His goal is, and has been, to produce captivating films that tell a meaningful story and enrich the lives of those who view them.
