FILM SCREENING
SONS OF WAR
EREZEE, BELGIUM
May 28th, 2007 was a special day for Kudu Productions, Inc.. Producer / Director Doug Andonian returned to Belgium, as promised, to screen the recently completed film SONS OF WAR for the people within the entity of Erezee, Belgium as well as a contingent from the US Embassy in Brussels and a select group of US citizens working and residing in Belgium. The screening audience was comprised of 150 to 165 people, some being participants and or production assistants.
The audience was motionless for the entire 60 minutes the film ran and it was noted that upon completion there were very few dry eyes and a rousing standing ovation was given the Producer / Director. A cordial reception followed the screening and all enjoyed an extraordinary evening as a result.
It should be noted that the honor of being proclaimed the first ever HONORARY SPECIAL CITIZEN OF THE ENTITY OF EREZEE was bestowed upon Mr. Andonian by the Mayor of Erezee, Mayor Michel Jacquet.
"I was quite taken by the number of people who attended. After all, these are very small hamlets that make up the entity. They made me feel very much at home and were so appreciative of the awareness the film brings to the region. A region that suffered greatly during the well known World War Two BATTLE OF THE ARDENNE. I must also acknowledge the honor of the proclamation given me by Mayor Jacquet. These are truly wonderful people and I thank them from the bottom of my heart."
